Agriculture receives an official delegation from the Eurasian Union to follow up the manufacture and trading of feed

The Regional Center for food and feed received an official delegation from the Eurasian Union to inspect the control procedures on the manufacture and trading of feed, its raw materials and additives, within the framework of the interest of the Ministry of Agriculture and land reclamation to increase Egyptian agricultural exports, open new markets and upgrade Egyptian products.

 Dr. Ahmed Al-Akazi, regional director of food and feed, said that the visit of the Russian delegation, which includes experts and officials from veterinary medicine, animal production and animal health of the Eurasian Union, is an important step to review and audit the inspection procedures for all feed industry inputs and the procedures for accreditation of regulatory bodies such as the Regional Center for food and feed, starting with registration procedures for imported and homemade products, sampling at ports and customs ports, chemical analysis, monitoring and tracking procedures, risk analysis and internal control of feed factories. The delegation visited some laboratories, including the Biotechnology Laboratory, and reviewed the work steps from the receipt of samples until the issuance of certificates and archiving the results in databases .

 It is worth noting that the Eurasian Union is an economic and political entity that includes a number of European and Asian countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and others.
